Troll Bridge is a sanctioned adaptation of a short story by legendary sci-fi/fantasy author Terry Pratchett. As you can imagine, a bridge is involved. Guess where I came in.
I did several shots of the "extend the live-action footage so it looks like the bridge is bigger" variety, but I think you'll agree with me that the reveal is the real doozy. In fact, I'm so proud of it, I'm putting some very high-res stills here.
I handed this over to the other effects artists to complete the background and add in a raging river. This was a real hoot to work on.
